When I transfer my domain, will my domain expiration date change?

Yes, when you transfer your domain to Yahoo!, we'll add a year (or more, depending on your plan) to your domain registration.

If you sign up for a Merchant Solutions plan and transfer a domain that will expire in 5 months, we'll add a year to your registration. Your domain won't expire for a year and 5 months.

(If you sign up for a Yahoo! Domains plan for a multiyear term, we'll extend your registration for the length of that term, then renew your domain annually after your original plan term ends.)

More important, when you decide to manage your domain with Yahoo!, we'll take care of renewing your domain for you as long as your plan remains active, so you never have to worry about losing your domain. The cost of your renewals is included in your Small Business plan.
