After you initiate the transfer process, our domain registration partner, Melbourne IT, will send an email to your domain contact email address: either the administrative or registrant contact listed in your domain records (WHOIS).
You'll have 5 days to complete the steps in that email to authorize the transfer, or your transfer request will expire, so it's critical that you can receive this message.
To save time, we recommend that you review your WHOIS and make any updates before you begin the transfer process. You can contact your registrar anytime to confirm your WHOIS, or check yourself in the public WHOIS database.
